The Picket Lake Unit lies about 10 miles north of Lake Vermilion and
south of the Echo Trail. Picket Lake, which lies within the unit,
has three backcountry campsites.
Picket Lake attracts anglers, paddlers, and campers, while the
surrounding area is used by hunters and trappers. Also within the
unit are Finstad Lake and Finstad and Picket Creeks.
